SAV FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP IN HONOUR OF ROBERT MOORE

We are proud to announce the SAV Foundation Scholarship, created in honour of the late and great Mr. Robert Moore — a teacher who inspired a generation of youth in community housing through his unwavering dedication, compassion, and belief in every child’s potential.
Mr. Moore showed so many young people that with love, hope, and encouragement, they could rise above barriers and build a brighter future. This scholarship continues his legacy by supporting youth who carry those same values forward.
At the SAV Foundation, we believe every young person deserves the opportunity to dream, grow, and pursue their goals, regardless of the challenges they face. Our mission has always been to lift youth up, support their journey, and remind them that their future matters.
This scholarship is open to students entering post-secondary education or a skilled trades program who have demonstrated a commitment to making a positive impact in their community.
To apply, students must:
• Submit a minimum 500-word essay reflecting on one of the SAV Foundation’s four pillars and how it has made their life better
• Complete 10 hours of volunteer service helping make our community stronger
Our four pillars are:
• Sports • Academics • Volunteering • The London Knights Community
Please submit entries by June 19 to Sav@SavFoundation.com. The selected recipient will be contacted directly by phone, and their story will be shared on our social media to celebrate the impact young leaders are already making in our community.
At the SAV Foundation, we believe that kindness, service, and community can change lives. Our hope is that this scholarship inspires the next generation to lead with heart, chase their dreams, and continue lifting others up along the way.
Because when one young person is supported, an entire community grows stronger.
